Saturna's Midweek Mutiny: Today's Best Indie & A Contest

Editor's Note: This post was written by Pacific Northwest band, Saturna. This is part of a series of posts that they are doing today. See below for links to the rest.

We thought that we’d leave you with a taste of the best indie rock that is currently out there. If you haven’t heard these bands, then step out of the dark ages and pull your fingers out of your ears.

In honor of the Midweek Mutiny, we've decided to give away an ...All Night EP. Leave a comment below or send an e-mail, with your first name, town, and e-mail. The winner will be notified and announced on this site, sometime next week. The runner up might receive something special too (think The Magic Garden.) We'll mail the CD, but the runner up must come to Portland to receive their prize. Take care.

I bought All Night months ago and it still gets frequent play. Raw, dirty, sad, sweet-like an emotional roller coaster ride-it takes you to great heights and then plunges you into the darkest despair, over and over again. Great EP from one of my favorite local bands.
