Thursday in The Region

You've seen the posts on everybody else who is playing the region Thursday. If you want a more local flavor, be sure to check out one of these shows.

Baltimore's Kadman is staying close to home and taking over Fell's Point at Fletcher's.

If you are feeling a little bit country, The Everybodyfields from Tennesse are at IOTA in Arlington.

Up in Philly at The Millcreek Tavern, local pyschedelic/shoe-gaze artists The Private Sea (taken from a book about an LSD experience, fittingly) take the stage.

Kadman to Release Studio Recording

Baltimore's Kadman are set to release Sing to Me Slower on Slo.Bor Records on March 18th. The careful minimalist rockers mark this as their first studio recording, offering up a record that switches from ambient crafting to electric-based alt-rock, laying down 11 original tracks. The CD release party glides into Baltimore’s Metro Gallery on March 14th.

Thurday Night Is Upon Us

This has been a long week, but Thursday is finally upon us. You can almost taste the weekend, so kick it off with a great show. Baltimore and DC both have something worth seeing tonight, so there aren't any excuses.

For those of you in Baltimore, there is a great benefit show at Metro Gallery. Local favorites Rain the Shining headline the evening. They'll be joined by Brooklyn buzz band The Diggs and local band Kadman.

Rain the Shining - To Point B
The Diggs- Everyone's Starting Over
Kadman- Blue Walls

Now for our DC readers... There is a great show at The Red and The Black. Ironically, Baltimore's Page France will be in town. They will be joined by Chris Garneau and Austin buzz band Peel.

Page France - Hat and Rabbit
Peel - Workers Wake Up
Chris Garneau - Not Nice
