Listener Request: Lissie

So, clearly we're all over and around the folk pop/rock/indie scene. Or, at the very least, we're getting that reputation and because of it we received a tip on a new, hot songwriter going by the name Lissie. Straight out of Hollywood (via Colorado, via Illinois), the conspicuous darling has been at it for the past few years, traveling around the country with her guitar playing open mics, opening for traveling acts and visiting friends. Then she had her introduction to the indie world when she was featured on The OC and in the documentary, Who Killed the Electric Car?. After that, she toured with Lenny Kravitz. So the main-stream world is not so far away either.
