Polly Scattergood, the British 22-year-old Bjork and Tori Amos channeling sprite, has just debuted her first single “Nitrogen Pink”, on Mute Records. Almost visual, the song moves from soft to electric to uncontainable in a matter of minutes. At such a young age with a lot of apparent talent (and a great name), I’m looking forward to seeing where Polly’s career goes, especially as she’s dubbed her own universe “Polly World”, inviting everyone to come in and have a look around through a series of short films. Watch the first one below and enjoy a copy of “Nitrogen Pink”, on us.
