As any good indie band should, Aviary Ghost began to record music in a one-room apartment during a particularly long Michigan winter. A few years later, they emerged with a thriving and complex album that is fit for anything from driving to singing along to reminiscing. Their latest record, Memory Is a Hallway, is an assorted mix of pop, folk, and even a little cabaret, giving the duo various platforms to relay their views on individual memory and how each person deals with it.
