The Godfather of Goth Looks Back

Peter Murphy has been making music longer than most of us can remember. As the lead singer of Bauhaus, he established himself as the "Godfather of Goth". After the band's break in the early '80s, Murphy continued to create music with his deep brooding lyrics and vocals. Off and on, Bauhaus would recreate itself with Peter at the helm. Apparently the ride is over, as their latest release Go Away White is to be their last and no tour is planned. Peter is still going strong solo and is on tour, performing a complete career retrospective. A look at the set lists shows no Bauhaus songs, so no hanging upside down above the stage singing "Bela Lugosi's Dead", but all the best of his solo albums are on the bill.
