Sans Pantaloons

I have to admit, I'm a huge proponent of the pantsless movement, but really, what guy in his right mind isn't? So it was with great delight that I found Men Without Pants, the collaborative efforts of Russell Simins and Dan The Automator, sitting in my in-box. The duo is set to drop trow with Naturally and they've graced us with the first single, "And The Girls Go," a rocking number with backing vocals by Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It's a driving affair, complete with scratchy guitars, electronic swagger and pounding drum machines. The throaty, distorted lead vocals provide a perfect backdrop to get you shaking your assumedly bare booty on the dance floor. While this is the only track I've heard thus far, the PR guy assures us that a number of "special guests" will show up on the actual album, too, including Sean Lennon, Cibo Matto, members of The Mooney Suzuki and others. Leave your pants at the door and check this one out.
