Bell Rings Through Stereogum and Rest of East Coast

The aptly named NYC band, Bell, led by Olga Bell, contributed a cover of Björk's "It's Oh So Quiet" to Stereogum's track-by-track tribute album to Post, which also features Liars, Dirty Projectors, High Places, Atlas Sound, etc. Mostly staying close to home after venturing into Texas for a SXSW visit, Bell will release a debut studio EP at the end of April, which is available digitally from the band, on their website. Bell seamlessly joins together watertight orchestration and fervent Björk-like vocals (a claim I wouldn't make too lightly) like a “morning-person” wakes up and rolls out of bed in the morning.
