See You Next Week

After 1 crazy month, I am going on vacation. I leave for St. Lucia tomorrow morning and will be gone for the week. In the interim, Mike will be taking over full time duties from Austin. He will be attending the Snowden show tonight, so you will see a review of that tomorrow. Additionally, he will have the weekly previews, the Thursday Throwdown, some ACL previews and he'll talk about whatever bands he feels like.

I had all of these crazy plans before I left and I just didn't get to them. I hope to clear those up shortly after I return. I will also launch our first contest and review last night's Forget Cassettes show. If anybody was there, feel free to review it in the comments section of this post. I would appreciate it.

Finally, I wanted to complete a few things that I started. Our first post was on The Ocean Blue. I have a great Smiths cover of theirs that I completely forgot to post, so I will include that now. Additionally, I talked about WOXY earlier this week. I found out today that they will be going silent on 9/15 unless they find a sugar daddy. So please support them in their last 2 weeks and check out their wonderful lounge act downloads. On a related note, I found another great site. Insomnia Radio Baltimore has great mixtapes and podcasts of local artists. Check it out and support home grown talent.
