From The Inbox, Part III

This should have my inbox cleared out of what was there up to a week ago. This is it for now, but you will see more of these in the near future...

If you go on their pure volume site, this is what you wil get: "GCM are a three-piece band from Edinburgh, Scotland. Listen to the songs." If you go on their myspace site, you don't get much more. I don't have a picture of them posted, because they don't have one available. If you ask for a bio, you get a reply along the lines of "it's about the music." So what about the music? It's done very organically in a do-it-yourself type of way. What they have so far are some raw demos. Hopefully there is much better to come.

GCM - I Don't Love You Anymore

Middle Distance Runner is a band from Washington, DC that found me while I was out of the country. Coming back to their album was a pleasant surprise. Since it has been a little crazy catching up this week, I can't do a full write-up on these guys just yet. I still have some listening to do. What I can tell you is that they self released a new album this past May and they are currently shopping for label interest. I promise to get a proper posting up about these guys in the near future. In the meantime, I'll leave you with this catchy song. Don't let it fool you though, their album goes much deeper than this.
