This Week in The Baltimore Region

Ah another week has passed, which means it is once again time for my weekly concert calendar of the Baltimore region. I must admit that things are looking pretty sad in Charm City this week. Fortunately there is enough life in the outlying areas to make this week worthwhile.

The lone concert of note that I have to report in Baltimore this week is fortunately a good one. On Wednesday night, The Ottobar has a bill featuring Aloha, Rahim and local favorites Avec.

If you venture to Annapolis, The Ram's Head has a great show featuring Corinne Bailey Rae, Kevin Devine and Gran Bel Fisher on Friday Night. If you head north, Frederick, MD has Bob Dylan at Harry Grove Stadium on Saturday Night.


The real place to be this week is The Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA. On Monday night, they have Frank Black from the Pixies. On Tuesday night, they present Stars of Track and Field and Jeremy Enigk, formerly of Sunny Day Real Estate. Wednesday night brings G Love and Special Sauce to town. Friday night has Bill Mallonee, formerly of Vigilantes of Love.
