This Week in the Baltimore Region

Ah, my home turf! Unfortunately, this is a big beach weekend and there isn't much happening here. There are a few shows of note...

The weekend kicks off with Pittsburgh's favorite sons The Clarks at Ram's Head in Annapolis on Thursday night. Heading back to Baltimore, Friday brings local favorites Celebration to The Ottobar. On Saturday, Sonar has a reggae show featuring Kingston's Luciano. The weekend ends with Sweden's Ane Brun at The 8x10 on Sunday.

For those of you heading to the beach, The Pat McGee Band will be at Dewey's Bottle & Cork on Friday and Tally Hall will be at Dogfish Head in Rehobeth on Saturday.

As far as south central PA, there really isn't much to report. It is basically status quo... cover bands, jam bands and screamy pop punk and hard rock wannabes that all sound exactly the same.

I will say that next week looks quite promising for the entire region, so look for that report Monday morning. In the meantime... Austin, want to trade?
